Boyes Helping Hands was established in 2009 as a Non-Profit Company. We started simply by helping whoever came across our path with food, shelter, counselling etc.
In 2010 we registered as a Non-Profit Organisation (106-205). A greater need was identified within various communities for assistance on several levels. We started off as a small feeding scheme assisting homeless people by providing meals, blankets, clothing and more.
In 2011 we “adopted” Parkview Primary School in Atlantis and provided nourishing meals for children who often go hungry were it not for our assistance. We also assist wherever possible with school clothing, shoes and sporting equipment.
We run a charity shop from our garage at home, and with the funds generated from the sale of the goods we purchase food for our various projects.
Our longterm objective is to establish a Centre for abused women and children to be housed, counselled and begin a new life, with help of skills classes, motivation and care.
